Turnback Manager II (62301)

Turnback Manager

This is a management position responsible for overseeing the preparation of current inventory to be sold to a third party. The incumbent will work closely with aftermarket vendors, automotive manufacturers and vehicle auctions. This position is highly visible within the region and it’s paramount to manage expenses and downtime of company’s assets.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Reviewing and administering all vehicle manufacturer requirements to ensure the vehicle is ready for second ownership.
  • Must be comfortable reading and annotating company documents required during the turn back process.
  • Prepare various reports for management while being analytically focus
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills required as this role involves negotiating with automotive manufacturers and presenting to internal stakeholders
  • Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office
  • Great attitude with high energy personality
  • Ability to work well within a process driven environment
  • Work with various company owned locations within the Bay Area to develop strategies and processes while effectively managing cost
  • Supervise inside and outside personnel
  • Participate in production meetings
  • Streamline internal process to improve efficiencies
  • Use both logic and intuition to reach appropriate conclusions
  • Care for incoming new vehicles

Required Experience

  • High School diploma required, bachelors degree preferred.
  • Two years of applicable automotive experience
  • Familiarity with automotive auctions preferred
  • Knowledgeable of automotive warranty repair
  • Strong organization and problem solving skills
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A good driving record with a valid driver's license required.
  • Attention to detail and good oral communications skills required.
  • Must be well organized and efficient with time management
